The Golden Gate Bridge Bicycle Trip:

The First of March proved to be an excellent day for Mick's inaugural trip over the golden gate bridge.
The bay was flooding with sailboats skimming in every direction, and being a huge sailing fan it was a pleasure to be ferried amongst the flotilla.

A Meet up of Two Corkonians:

Cycling over the golden gate bridge was in order on sat 1st of March, a perfect way to remove a hangover. It did not fell that way at the time. A cycle down along Crissy fields provided a great platform for the approach to the famous bridge.

Having Drunk lots of Irish stout in a local pub the evening before celebrating the last day of the leap year which was the 29th of February 2008.
The Weather was fantastic in typical Californian fashion. A Well deserved lunch in Sausalito followed by a ferry back across the bay to San francisco, leaving Alcatraz to our starboard side and landing at the main terminal at San Francisco's historic ferry building. What a great day! Well done Mick! Well done Tom!
